Supporting is crushing insulation. Hence, Insulation size is reduced.
The contraction of insulation or thermal expansion/contraction of piping can cause piping to slip downward.

Use pipe sleeve to protect insulation.
Use sleeper like lower picture to prevent copper tube dropping down.
