Fire Sprinkle Obstruction Rules as per OBSTRUCTION RULES(CP 52 Clause 6.7)
Operations of sprinkler could be delayed or effective distribution of water from the sprinklers could be impaired.
To closely examine the following: Structural supports, Pipes, Ducts and Other fixtures.
Obstruction by Structural Beam
Supplementary sprinkle may be used under beam to handle the fire source.

Air Duct Fire Sprinkle Obstruction Rules
Area under duct is not protected and we can add a supplementary sprinkle to underside of the duct to eliminate fire source below duct.

Partial Area not Protected
Partial area not protected due to obstruction caused by structure.

Close Spacing of Sprinkler
The sprinkler skipping occurs when a sprinkler operates substantially before a nearby sprinkler is closer to the fire plume.
Close spacing of sprinkler may cause wetting of the adjacent sprinkler head by the activated sprinkler resulting in growth of fire until it’s controlled by other sprinkler.
